Basketball Recap: Cushman Piles Up the Points Against Archimedean

Cushman won the last time they faced Archimedean and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cushman Cougars blew past Archimedean 65-32. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 30 points or more this season.

Cushman found their leader in sophomore Fremgen Jackson, who posted 26 points in addition to five assists and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Virgil, who had 12 points and eight rebounds.

The victory got Cushman back to even at 6-6. As for Archimedean, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cushman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-30 loss against Keys Gate on the 9th. As for Archimedean, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-35 defeat against BridgePrep Village Green on the 9th.
