Soccer Game Preview: Allatoona vs. Cass

The Allatoona Buccaneers will challenge the Cass Colonels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Allatoona's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last nine contests.

Last Tuesday, everything went Allatoona's way against Dalton as Allatoona made off with a 7-3 victory. Considering the Buccaneers have won eight games by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cass fell victim to Cedartown and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allatoona's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those six matchups. As for Cass, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
