Basketball Recap: Sto-Rox Takes a Loss

Sto-Rox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Beaver Bobcats and fell 93-54. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Bobcats are ranked 74th).

Sto-Rox's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Beaver, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Sto-Rox will take on Keystone Oaks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaver, they will face off against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three games.
