Baseball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

The Monroe Cheesemakers came up short against the Lodi Blue Devils on Tuesday and fell 7-3. The Cheesemakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan Meier made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lodi, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will face off against Portage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lodi, they will take on West Allis Hale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
