Basketball Recap: Woodstock Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Woodstock's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Pope Greyhounds by a score of 57-44. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in December of 2024, they had to take a 53-52 defeat.

Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Pope, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Woodstock is taking a road trip to challenge Sequoyah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sequoyah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 contests. As for Pope, they will host River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pope is facing River Ridge at the right time seeing as River Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
