Palo Alto is 2-8 against Saratoga since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Palo Alto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Palo Alto took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over Castilleja. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won four in a row.

Palo Alto let Riannah Soliman and Kensie Pao run wild. Soliman scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Pao scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. What's more, Soliman posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Maya Rajgopal was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Palo Alto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 4-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Saratoga unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Los Altos.

Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Palo Alto, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
