Basketball Recap: Glasgow Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Brandywine came into Monday's game looking for another win against Glasgow, but Jahsir Robertson-Hamilton wouldn't allow it. The Glasgow Dragons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 win over the Brandywine Bulldogs on Monday thanks in part to Robertson-Hamilton, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Glasgow's points.

Another player making a difference was Sy'Air Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Glasgow has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Brandywine, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Glasgow won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Freire Charter School Wilmington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glasgow is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season. Brandywine has already played their next matchup (against Delcastle Technical), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
