Freedom took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles 3-0. The Patriots not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
While Freedom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-19.
Despite the defeat, Nazareth Area saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylie Shereba had ten digs.
Looking ahead, Freedom is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Easton Area at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nazareth Area, they will take on Northampton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
