Recap: King's Christian vs. Haddon Township Hawks

King's Christian waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Haddon Township by a score of 59-48. Given King's Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Haddon Township is ranked 370th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

King's Christian had a senior duo take command as Jason Brice scored 18 points and Tysaun Bruce scored 15 points. Semi Odedele was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

King's Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Haddon Township, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

King's Christian will be playing at home against Gloucester County Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Gloucester County Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Saturday. As for Haddon Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Lindenwold at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
