On Thursday, Centennial faced Las Vegas in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Centennial Bulldogs fell 34-21 to the Las Vegas Wildcats. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Even if they lost, Centennial's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. McKena Beverly was especially locked on to Las Vegas' QB and sacked her three times. What's more, Beverly also racked up ten total tackles, the most she's had since back in January. Centennial got some further help from Kairi Tabunar: she picked up a sack, made ten total tackles, and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.
