Soccer Recap: Mohawk Area Comes Up Short

Mohawk Area came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Quaker Valley Quakers, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Mohawk Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 448th, while Quaker Valley are ranked 108th).

Mohawk Area's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Quaker Valley, their record is now 11-2-1.

Coincidentally, Mohawk Area and Quaker Valley will both be playing Keystone Oaks the next time they take the pitch. The Quakers will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
