Basketball Game Preview: Metro Tech Knights vs. Northwest Christian Crusaders

After both having extra time off, the Metro Tech Knights and the Northwest Christian Crusaders will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Metro Tech is looking for their season's first victory.

Last Friday, Metro Tech was beaten by Central 84-31. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Bobcats are ranked 61st).

Erick Morales put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Northwest Christian ended up a good deal behind Yuma Catholic last Saturday and lost 54-36. The Crusaders have struggled against the Shamrocks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Metro Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Northwest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Metro Tech was taken down by Northwest Christian 52-24 in their previous matchup back in December of 2018. Can Metro Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
