Recap: Davis Darts vs. Farmington Phoenix
On Tuesday, the Davis Darts faced the Farmington Phoenix in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Davis walked away with a 65-58 win over Farmington. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Coleman Atwater continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Caleb Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Davis is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Farmington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis will square off against Weber at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Weber's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 contests. As for Farmington, they will head out on the road to face off against Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Syracuse is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
