Millard North had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Bellevue East Chieftains onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Millard North also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Josh McFadden and
Connor Robbins, who scored both of Millard North's goals.
This is the second loss in a row for Bellevue East and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Millard North will head out on the road to challenge Norfolk at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellevue East, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Bellevue West at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bellevue East and Bellevue West are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
