Preview: Mitchell Bluejackets vs. Paoli Rams
Mitchell and Paoli are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Mitchell Bluejackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Paoli Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Mitchell and four for Paoli.
Mitchell suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They suffered a tough 53-32 defeat at the hands of Eastern Greene.
Meanwhile, Paoli came up short against Springs Valley on Thursday and fell 43-36.
Jehrico Hopper put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Maddie Vernon, who scored seven points.
Mitchell bumped their record down to 1-19 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Paoli, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
