Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davidson Academy). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints a 24-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won seven in a row.

Davidson Academy pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
