It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Glencoe ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Cedar Bluff Tigers. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Glencoe's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Cedar Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Coincidentally, Glencoe and Cedar Bluff will both be playing Sand Rock the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
