Goldthwaite is a perfect 3-0 against Junction since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Goldthwaite will venture away from home to take on Junction at 5:00 p.m.

Goldthwaite is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Harper just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 5-4.

Kenley Howard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole six bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Andi Edwards also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Junction came out on top in a nail-biter against Leakey, sneaking past 10-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for Junction.

Junction's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-15. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Goldthwaite, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Goldthwaite beat Junction 6-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Does Goldthwaite have another victory up their sleeve, or will Junction turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
