Volleyball Recap: First Flight Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

First Flight had won two straight games and Ella Morris did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Nighthawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hertford County Bears for which the team can thank Morris, who had 13 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

First Flight's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Hertford County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. First Flight is set to take on their familiar foe Currituck County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hertford County will challenge rival Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
