Softball Recap: Clear Falls Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clear Creek last Tuesday, Clear Falls came back down to earth. The Clear Falls Knights came up short against the Clear Springs Chargers on Friday, falling 17-3. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Chargers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

P LaFrenz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Madison Elliott also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Clear Falls has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. The victory was the sixth in a row for Clear Springs, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Coincidentally, Clear Falls and Clear Springs will both be playing Dickinson the next time they take the field. Clear Falls will host Dickinson at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, while Clear Springs will host them at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
