Baseball Recap: Marshall Finds Home Field Redemption Against Warrensburg

There's no place like home for Marshall, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Warrensburg Tigers by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brody Kueker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chase Thompson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Marshall's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Warrensburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
