Soccer Recap: South Rowan vs. Concord
After flying high against West Rowan last Wednesday, South Rowan came back down to earth. The South Rowan Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Concord Spiders on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raiders haven't been shut out since back in August.
South Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Concord, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1-1.
South Rowan will face off against Robinson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. South Rowan will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Concord, they will square off against Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salisbury will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Concord surely won't give up without a fight.
