Mount Pleasant won the last time they faced West Stanly and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers walked away with a 25-14 win over the Colts. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Colts are ranked 301st).

When it comes to explaining why West Stanly lost, don't look at Dominik Danzy. Despite the final result, he picked up 157 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Mount Pleasant has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.3 points over those games. As for West Stanly, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
