Baseball Recap: Easley Comes Up Short

Easley's last matchup with Science Hill could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Green Wave came up short against the Hilltoppers, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost five in a row.

Easley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Science Hill, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Easley will venture away from home to challenge John Battle at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Science Hill, they will head out to take on Maryville at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
