There's no place like home for Port Angeles, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the North Kitsap Vikings 5-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Roughriders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Port Angeles' win bumped their record up to 3-7-2. As for North Kitsap, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 8-3-1.

Coming up, Port Angeles will square off against Gig Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tides will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Roughriders surely won't give up without a fight.
