Grandview center scored 16 with seven rebounds as West earns wire-to-wire victory.
As the NCAA Women's Final Four took shape Monday, the stars of tomorrow were front and center Tuesday as the 22nd McDonald's All American game took center stage in Brooklyn.
Last year, Joyce Edwards and Sarah Strong earned co-MVP honors and made an immediate impact for South Carolina and UConn, respectively. UCLA is also making a push for the national championship behind center Lauren Betts.
On Tuesday, her sister
Sienna Betts of
Grandview (Aurora, Colo.), showed she is one of the next in line of future stars earning MVP honors with 16 points with seven rebounds and two assists as the West beat the East 104-82.
Sienna Betts now gets to root on her sister before heading to Westwood next season.

The West controlled the game from the tip, racing to an 18-0 lead in the first period. The East was able to cut it to nine at half but trailed 79-66 entering the fourth period. But
Aliyahna Morris of
Etiwanda (Calif.) opened the period with a deep 3-pointer and the West wasn't really challenged as
Brynn McGaughy of
Central Valley (Spokane Valley, Wash.) went on a 10-point scoring barrage in the closing minutes.
McGaughy finished with a game-high 17 points while Morris was one of six players in double figures with 10 points.
The Tennessee connection was strong as future Vols
Mia Pauldo of No. 1
Morris Catholic (Denville, N.J.) had nine points and seven assists and
Jaida Civil of
Palm Bay (Melbourne, Fla.) had seven points and four assists.
