Soccer Game Preview: Plainfield vs. Killingly

The Plainfield Panthers will face off against the Killingly Trailbazers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Plainfield's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Plainfield is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against St. Bernard on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1.

Plainfield's goal came courtesy of Gillian Brix, who's now up to 19 this season.

Meanwhile, Killingly kept a clean sheet against New London on Saturday. They blew past the Whalers 8-0. Killingly haven't had any issues with New London recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-3. As for Killingly, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-3.
