Softball Recap: Wilson Wildcats vs. Northview Vikings
Wilson had lost five straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 7-10 to make it six. They fell 5-2 to the Northview Vikings. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Vikings when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season. The victory was familiar territory for they, who have now won three matchups in a row.
For Northview's part, Clementina Duran made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
