Basketball Recap: West Essex Has No Trouble Against University

West Essex won the last time they faced University and things went their way on Thursday too. The West Essex Knights strolled past the University Phoenix with points to spare, taking the game 71-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

West Essex's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for University, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12-1.

West Essex will challenge Science Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Essex has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for University, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on February 4th.
