West Orange won the last time they faced St. Benedict's Prep and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mountaineers put the hurt on the Gray Bees with a sharp 7-1 win. The Mountaineers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Orange and bumps their season record up to 10-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

West Orange will look to defend their home field on Monday against Nutley at 4:00 p.m. The Mountaineers will need to watch out since the Maroon Raiders have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they will square off against Verona at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
