Volleyball Recap: Lemon Bay Manta Rays vs. Braden River Pirates
Lemon Bay came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Braden River Pirates. The Manta Rays haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Lemon Bay was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.
Kylie Jones paced Lemon Bay's offense, picking up eight kills. Jones got some help from Evelyn Swidrak and her 17 assists. Swidrak was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
