Softball Game Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Hemet Bulldogs

The San Jacinto Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Hemet Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. San Jacinto is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, San Jacinto didn't have quite enough to beat Indio and fell 3-2. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kamorah Johnson and Keyera Cameron stepped up to the plate in a big way. Johnson went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base, while Cameron went 1-for-4 with one home run and two stolen bases. Cameron is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, Hemet got the win against Hamilton on Thursday by a conclusive 16-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Hemet and bumps their season record up to 10-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 19 runs. As for San Jacinto, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
