Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hillsdale Hornets  a   15-0 shutout  on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
 Mya Solis was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Kendall Gilbertson, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Madison  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in three consecutive  matches.
Madison's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hillsdale, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will venture away from home to  face off against Sand Creek  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Hillsdale, they will head out to  challenge Morenci  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
