Football Recap: Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Skates Past Yakama Nation Tribal with Ease

The Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles 55-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Johnny Ferguson out in front who rushed for 47 yards and one TD, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and one score. James Robertson was in the mix as well, providing the Lions with two touchdowns.

Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Yakama Nation Tribal, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian will head out to square off against Waitsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. After each having a week off, Yakama Nation Tribal and DeSales will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
