Softball Recap: Manitowoc Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Sheboygan North

Manitowoc Lincoln made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sheboygan North, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Ships were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Golden Raiders on Thursday. For the Ships, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Golden Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Taylor Peterson and Jordin Popp did most of the damage at the plate: Peterson scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Popp went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. The dominant performance also gave Peterson a new career-high in RBI (three). Anya Hall was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances.

The win got Manitowoc Lincoln back to even at 1-1.
