Soccer Recap: Baylor Takes a Loss

Baylor's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers by a score of 3-2. Baylor were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Boyd-Buchanan apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Baylor and nudges their season record down to 4-3-2. As for Boyd-Buchanan, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baylor will square off against Meadowcreek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Baylor's defense better be ready for this one: Meadowcreek have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they will face off against St. Andrews-Sewanee at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. St. Andrews-Sewanee's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
