Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tatum). They blew past the West Rusk Raiders 25-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Camryn Milam was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Layla Icenhower, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Tatum always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .844. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The victory made it two in a row for Tatum and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
