Soccer Game Preview: Mountain Range vs. Smoky Hill

The Mountain Range Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Smoky Hill Buffaloes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Range will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Mountain Range was able to grind out a solid victory over Bear Creek, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Smoky Hill's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Vista PEAK Prep a 4-0 shutout. The Buffaloes haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Smoky Hill hit Vista PEAK Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sailor Roth (2), Aribelle Arreola Hernandez, and Lauren Nesbitt.

Mountain Range's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Smoky Hill, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
