Elko had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Sparks Railroaders on Saturday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Aly Harzke made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Adausha O'Berto was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Addison Seipp, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and four RBI.

Elko always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Elko now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Sparks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Coming up, Elko will square off against Churchill County at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. The Greenwave will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. Sparks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
