Recap: Bolton Central Eagles vs. Lake Placid Bombers

The Bolton Central Eagles put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lake Placid 60-31 at home. Bolton Central has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bolton Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jadynn Egloff, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Maille Kelley, who scored 15 points.

Bolton Central's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Lake Placid, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolton Central will take on Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Boquet Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Lake Placid, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Willsboro Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Willsboro Central comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
