Basketball Recap: Sallisaw Drops Season-High Score on Stilwell

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sallisaw). They took down the Stilwell Indians 62-45 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Black Diamonds sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mady George and Taylor Croley certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. George posted nine points and six boards, while Croley had seven points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kira Camacho, who put up five points and four steals.

Sallisaw has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Stilwell, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Sallisaw will welcome Stigler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sallisaw has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Stilwell has already played their next match (against Tahlequah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
