King had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Northbrook Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: King took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14.

King's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Northbrook, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, King and Northbrook will both be playing Dekaney the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
