It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mid-Carolina had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal a 12-0 shutout. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Mid-Carolina's fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

As of now, neither Mid-Carolina nor the Bengal have any future games scheduled.
