Soccer Recap: Foster Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Foster Falcons didn't have quite enough to beat the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Fighting Crusaders are ranked 29th).

Foster's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Strake Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing George Ranch the next time they take the pitch. Foster will host George Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Strake Jesuit will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
