Softball Recap: Bay Path RVT Comes Up Short

Bay Path RVT managed to slip by Tri-County RVT the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Minutemen came up short against the Cougars on Monday, falling 14-2. The Minutemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2023.

Bay Path RVT saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aliyah Gonyea, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Bay Path RVT has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Tri-County RVT, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Bay Path RVT will square off against Hudson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-County RVT, they will be playing at home against Southeastern RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
