It was a good run, but Kouts unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Morgan Township Cherokees. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kouts of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Kouts' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Morgan Township, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kouts will square off against Westville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Kouts' defense better be ready for this one: Westville have averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Morgan Township, they will challenge Argos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
