Football Recap: Eaglecrest Starts Season with Win Against Rangeview + How To Watch

Eaglecrest gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 50-6 victory over the Rangeview Raiders. The win continues a trend for the Raptors in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won four in a row.

Eaglecrest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Brinkman, who rushed for 48 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns. The Raptors also got a significant boost from Sterling Dufour, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Eaglecrest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Eaglecrest has already played their next contest, a 25-13 loss against Fort Collins on the 5th. As for Rangeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 49-7 win against Lakewood on the 4th.
