Football Recap: Morton/White Pass Falls Despite Big Games from Logan Mays and Kohen Ingalsbe

Morton/White Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mossyrock Vikings. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Morton/White Pass had strong showings from Kohen Ingalsbe, who gained 144 total yards and two touchdowns, and Logan Mays, who rushed for 24 yards and one score. Mays didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended one pass.

Morton/White Pass' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mossyrock, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Morton/White Pass does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mossyrock, they are taking a road trip to square off against Adna at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
