Basketball Recap: Arcadia Valley Comes Up Short

Arcadia Valley was the 58-39 winner over North County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Arcadia Valley Tigers were dealt a 72-45 loss at the hands of the North County Raiders on Wednesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaiden Keith and Jarel Jackson certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Keith went 7 for 12 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds, while Jackson went 8 of 16 en route to 17 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Keith a new career-high in points. Ryan Ridlon also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Arcadia Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North County, they moved to 6-10 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Arcadia Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-56 loss against Kingston on the 31st. North County has also already played their next contest (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
