Basketball Recap: Newark Norsemen vs. Hinckley-Big Rock Royals
Newark had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hinckley-Big Rock Royals on Tuesday, sneaking past 67-64. This was a revenge game for the Norsemen: when they faced off against the Royals back in December of 2024, they had to take a 66-62 loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Newark to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reggie Chapman, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 21 points along with seven assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Kath, who went 7 of 8 en route to 17 points.
